New York City and Squishy Babies

March 23rd, 2010

I had such a wonderful time traveling to New York to visit my friend of 23 years.  She is the best hostess ever (despite the fact that the weather could have cooperated more). Her sweet little boy couldn’t have been more fun!

We braved the SUB-ZERO temperatures for some exploration of the city.

Bumps and Bruises

October 24th, 2009

I was excited to get to photograph this little man for his first birthday…poor guy took about three steps out of the car and then face planted on the concrete.  As he sat up, a bruise and knot had already formed and he had a bloody nose….uh-oh.  His parents calmed him down and cleaned him up and we proceeded with the photo shoot.  I was able to drastically reduce the “effects” of the fall during post-processing edits. Have I mentioned how much I appreciate Photoshop?

I also got to photograph his cute sister who is about to turn five!

October 18th, 2009

This little girl was already such a great big sister to her ten day old little brother.

Unfortunate Weather, Adorable Boy

September 11th, 2009

These sweet friends were in all the way from Muncie, IN…unfortunately the weather was not cooperating for our shoot.  We would walk outside and the skies would open up, so we’d go inside to wait it out.  The sun would break through, we’d go back outside…then it would start pouring again.  We did this for several hours, but it was totally worth it for the precious pictures we got of this little man and his adorable faces.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

September 10th, 2009

My father has been in aviation for 40 years.  It is a line of work that has required a lot of long hours, but there are some pretty hefty perks that go along with his job too.  One such perk is when we get to accompany him on random last minute trips!  We had a wonderful time flying to Florida for dinner last month…here’s a few photos from our adventure…
